Who is Local Links?
Local Links is a team of service industry experts. We’re people who work in restaurants, retail, front of the house, back of the house, and everywhere between. We’re locals and regulars. We’re people who think local, stay local, be local.
What does my Local Guide Do?
We connect you to local services, setting you up in all the wonderful ways you wish to eat, relax, explore, and experience. We want you to have the best time with your friends and family. Rest Easy. We’ve got ya!
How does Local Links work?
We’re your local concierge and guide. Need a meal? We’ll organize it. Need a massage? We’ll order it. Need a business service? We know an expert. We’ve got a Local Link for every occasion.
What do I need to do?
Step #2: Have a quick call with your Local Guide to ensure we’ve got the details. We coordinate with local businesses in exchange for a fee to make sure you can relax rather than spend it planning and managing your day.
Step #3: The services are then scheduled through the app on your calendar of upcoming events
What’s the advantage of Local Links over other services?
Saves you time. Hunting for the best business is time-consuming. Let us take the weight off your shoulders. Don’t spend your days on Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and other review services. Our team of local business experts set you up with two options to choose from based on your budget and needs. All you need to do is let us know what you’re looking to do and when.
How do I pay?
We’ve contracted with the local businesses we pair with you. Whether you’re visiting an office/studio/restaurant/off-site location or the service is in-home/room, just bill it to Local Links! Let the business know your name and put it on your Local Links. All invoices are available here in your profile. They are cleared with you and any payment is made through your secured card on file.
We believe in full transparency. We believe in transparency with costs of goods, fees, and other primary business roles involved with your customer experience.
Our current structure is as follows:
- We currently charge a customer fee of 5% for all purchased services. These fees are sometimes waived for discount offers and other various reasons that will be spelled out on an individual basis.
- We currently receive a 15%-20% commission for customer service connections with our Power Partners. These businesses are recommended by our community representatives, local reviews, and our analysis/internal review process we seek from you, our customer.
- We do take tips for our customer service. This will be clearly marked separately on our invoice and through notifications.
- All tips for your local business will be noted separately and are paid directly to the business.
- We appreciate your Local Link Community Partnerships for allowing us to serve your customers. We currently pay a 35-49% transaction fee-revenue share in exchange for connecting us to our customers.
- If you own a property, and want to add revenue opportunities, become a Local Link and register your property.
- If you are in the customer service business or work in a local retail business and would like more leads and referrals, become a Local Link and claim your business.
