Second Mastermind with LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce as co-sponsors! This time we were excited to welcome Chad Maender, VP of Membership. Chad spoke about how small businesses can stay authentic, support each other, and try new strategies to connect to new clients.
Our Top Takeaways:
- Continue to be your authentic self! Even if you have to move most or all of your business interaction online, keep as many of the same habits and relationships with customers as you can. Authenticity goes a long way toward marketing your product and service.
- Create a digital business card so you have all your pertinent information handy and can easily copy/paste, link, or send it out.
- Do what you can to support the local businesses in your community. Offer your services at a small discount to other businesses, and make an effort to seek out a local business for something you need. We can help each other stay afloat and even thrive!
- One way you can draw clients in now, at a time when people are less willing to spend, is by splitting your services or content into smaller chunks that might be more enticing and still bring in money for you!
- Put some emotion into your work. By this, we mean show your passion for the type of service or for the groups you serve. Share why you got into the business. Research what your clients are passionate about and show the ways you care about the same things they do.
Thank you, Chad and LAX Coastal, for a great mastermind!
