We hope you made it to our most recent Mastermind! Carissa Catalina opened the evening by presenting on her new mask-making business, Let Wildlife Live. She shared how she would research problems with current masks and sought to correct those issues with her unique design.
Adapt & Thrive Mastermind, May 28th Our Top Takeaways from the meeting:
- Take a note from Carissa’s book and do some research! Poll your clients, send out surveys, and ask people what problems they need solving right now. The results of your research could help you refine and hone your current business, but it can also inspire and embolden you to take a chance on a new endeavor.
- Don’t stress about trying to accomplish every part and role of your business completely on your own! You are allowed to ask for and accept help at any stage.
- You should no longer feel limited to market only in your direct area–the rest of the world has gotten more accessible! Branch out and consider what other regions could benefit from your service or product.
- Projects you were considering before covid are still feasible. You may simply need to approach those ideas from a different angle or flesh them out through other means.
- Talking through challenges with others helps get your creative juices flowing and helps your brain come up with innovative solutions. Don’t be afraid to chat with other business owners or creative minds to research problems.
