“How do I find my ideal customer online?”

At Local Links we can help connect you with your Ideal CustomerAdapt & Thrive Mastermind, November 12th

“Where are my ideal customers and what do they want from me???”

Don’t fret, friends! At our latest mastermind, Matt Quirk led the discussion about ways to find where your best customers are online and what they’re looking for.

This week’s Top Takeaways:

  • To find your customers online, do some investigative research to figure out 1) What are they looking for, 2) Who are they turning to for inspiration/guidance, and 3) What value are they getting from those people or companies?
  • Want to know what your ideal customers are engaging with? See who they are following on social media (even look at groups they join and the posts they share), follow those people or companies and see what they post. You might find some inspiration, or you might realize that your ideal customer is actually someone different.
  • Remember: you can replicate some of the strategies others are using to attract new customers while also staying true to your business mission and values.
  • One good (and free) research tool to see what others are advertising online is Facebook Ads Library. If you’re looking for a marketing toolkit or help with digital marketing, check out SEMrush.
  • If you have customers who don’t engage with your business on certain platforms, maybe look for other places online where those same people (and others like them) are more active.

Now that you have a game plan, go forth and find new customers, engage more with your most loyal clients, and find your niche online! Local Links will always be here to support local businesses. We’re here to connect you to the resources, expertise, and people who can help your business grow. See you next Thursday at another Adapt & Thrive!
